I was wondering if any AA AMT's are readers of this forum? My question is: have all furloughed mechanics been recalled yet? If so, has AA begun hiring to staff their new hangar (the old Delta hangar) at DFW?

Thanks, Pat

Pat: One of my crewmates is an ex-AA AMT. I think he still has ties to the company, or at least knows who to talk to. I'll querry him Monday night when I get to work and see what I can find out.

Hey Pat: Talked to my crewmate last night. He said to jump on the union website and the seniority list for AMT's is posted there in a public part of the site. He was the next to last AMT that has had a recall notice in the last few years, as far as he can see on the list. He did mention that there has abeen a fairly large number of retirements in the last couple of years with no replacements recalled. Any more info that that would require talking to one of the active union guys.

Hope this helps,
Craig C.
