Maybe being smart is not just a matter of how smart we can be at our best, but how dumb we are at our worst. What is the dumbest thing you've ever done and how did you feel? Here's one that at least ought to make almost anyone look good by comparison: A man went to the emergency room, to be treated for breathing problems. He confessed that he had gotten so drunk that he had decided to put his pet rattlesnake in his mouth. He almost died because his throat swelled up so much that it blocked his airway. If you've done something stupider than this, Lord help you.

Got all of you beat. I suffer from severe depression and between all my medical issues and the depression, I haven't been able to work for more than a year. The burden was too much for my wife. She left me this morning.

I am sure most everyone on WIX feels for you and hopes you can make the best of a tough situation. Somehow the passage of a little time can make a dark day look a little less so.

Of course I just came up with a dumb one.....
I was sitting at a bar around the corner here about an hour or so ago.
I had a glass of water with dinner, thats not the dumb part.
About halfway through dinner I felt something at my LH armpit. I reached over and the tag from my Wal-Mart sweatshirt was still hanging from the sleeve. I tried it on about a week ago and left it inside my LL Bean canvas coat. Everytime I took it off it was inside my other jacket and I never noticed it was there. So, here I was at the bar, drinking my water and I looked really cool with my cheapie sweatshirt tag still attached, hanging off the back of the barstool.

Well, if anybody notices, you could say it was in memory of Minnie Pearl...

I'm not even sure how to narrow it down to "the top 10" -- I will admit that a couple of the"dumbest" involved poor choices in men! In retrospect, REALLY poor choices!
