It is true.

while sad, it will be great to see another B-17 in the air. Hopefully sooner then later.

I wonder if the damage done by the hurricanes might hane helped with this decision.

This is very sad, Every time I go to the "Mouse house" I always sneek a morning off to visit the museum.
I saw thier latest masterpiece grow from a pile of scrap behind a B-24 to the finnished artical, over about ten years.
I was there pre hurricane this august and so I was shocked to see the damage inflicted on his hanger and the warbird experience group next door. (It happened the week after I went home!)
Any way good luck to all concerned

The obvious question is, what happens to all the other "stuff" at his facility/shop?

It's a shame that some one or group couldn't operate the museum in his absence. Is his crew going with him like a package deal or are they cut lose?????

Brooks collection

It appears that Don and Tom have had a long working relationship. If I'm correct, Tom sold him the p40.

Speaking of Don Brooks, what does his current collection consist of?

1. Liberty Belle
2. Lab recovered b-17
3. P-40C??
4. SNJ5
??

Anyone know if the p40 is complete, has been flown or any intentions?

The hurricane did not affect this decision. Plans were already in place before that. The majority of the aircraft there are privately owned and they will all be delt with respectively. Kissimmee airport is growing and new hangars are going up around the field. It will continue to be a warbird hub. Warbird Adventures is expanding as well and has a bright future.
So, all things for the better and you should trust me on this.
