I just noticed that the newest registered WIX member is hardcorebondagehoe who hails from the wonderful land of Yemen.

FAA? NTSB? WTF?

"Find All Posts" failed to locate any posts by this new member but I'll be on the lookout for this one. Perhaps Scott and the gang should consider a new moderator position like "The Enforcer" or "The Flamer". I nominate Eric Downing for this new potential WIX moderator title .

Saludos,

there have been a slew of new sign ups lately from some real remote 3rd world countries, most probably bogus.

Sergeant-at-Arms works for me! Should we send Eric to Yemen in an effort to find "Hardcorebondagehoe" and straighten him or her out?

Paul, not to hijack my own thread (although it's probably a good idea because I'm getting a whif of "suspended from WIX" if I were to take this thread to it's logical conclusion) but here's a photo of what I'm told is a T-33 cockpit ladder. Does this appear "home made" or is it likely to be an actual military item? I've been offered this part along with some other junk that was going in the dumpster at a local tech school. Sorry, but I missed the T-33 that they have had for many years. It's a long story but when they could not find an "approved" home for it, the govt told them to cut it up. The govt told the tech school that since it could be converted into an AT-33 (what a joke) it needed to be destroyed on site and photos sent to the govt. I told the tech school two years ago that if it came down to destroying the plane, I would come get it and take it to our museum and sit on it for the govt until they could find a home for it. The tech school guy only found my phone number after the plane had been cut up.

well with my limited knowledge on t33, and not to just jump in before paul. that looks like a military one, i helped build some up when i was in utah working on a couple of t33's. the ones we made up looked better and were stronger then the original they had, which was worn out and falling apart.

Yes, it looks like a military T-33 boarding ladder. The two ladders I got surplus from the Canadian Forces are a little different, but are likewise crude in appearance...almost like a high school metal shop project.

Thanks JBrawner and T33Driver. If they have not already tossed this stuff in the dumpster, I'll go down there this week and pick it up. There are a few odd cylinders and a 65 HP Cont. or Lyc case in the pile but that's about it.
