RER

- e(vil)bay and other auction sites
- slide auctions
- fleamarkets
- collector's fairs and Antique Shops
- Salvation Army shops
- trade / exchange with fellow collectors all over this planet
- from pilots, aircrew and groundcrew directly
- Airshows like Flying Legends Duxford, UK, and La Ferté Alais (Temps des Hélices) France, where some booksellers also have photographs for sale.

I am currently trying to bring some order in my hundreds of stacks and boxes full of photographs & slides showing both military and civil aircraft from all eras - there's much trading material for interested individuals - send me a PM with your wishes - I am interested in P-51 related material (including F-82)

I am always looking for Latin American aircraft photos.

I ask people for copies of what they have; some people share, most don't. Dick Phillips has been overly generous, so has been Dr. Gary Kuhn, and others.

I share freely what I have; my only request is to honor the authorship of photos and to give due credit to the original photographer.

I have searched many an antique shop, but have not found much in the way of Latin American aircraft.

Martin, I will have for you a few (not really good) photos of the NACA F-82.

Saludos,

Tulio

Rob et al--

Most of my pix I've shot on my own...but you mean the other stuff. There would be three main sources...exchanges with other enthusiasts (which involves mostly other fairly-recent airshow, etc., shots); loans of older shots for duplication (eg. Firefly pix lent me by CWH; the personal album of an LAC from 6 Repair Depot at Trenton during WWII--that sort of thing); and random, fluke "finds" at flea markets or antique shops (like the apparently-rare shot I acquired a year ago showing the now-Chicago Stuka when it was in Canada). One thing I regret is not being more closely in touch with aviation archivists Jack McNulty and Bob Finlayson before they passed away...both of them lived mere blocks away when I was younger yet I hardly met them!

Hi,
most of mine are ( ww2 a/c ) from :-

car boot sales
small town markets / flea markets
aerojumble
ex raf members
air display stalls

e bay is way to expensive for my hobby as are antique shops etc ....

I share the photos relevant to requests on the boards on the net, but as it is a hobby, I sadly find little time to be able to catalogue for exchanges, as photos are a side line to my hobby.

Cheers
Jerry
