Is there anymore substance to this claim? I would tend to think think that the NHC would be all the USS Arizona's Kingfisher. That is of course if they know about it.

Or, unless it's the wreckage of the mockup they built for "Tora Tora Tora" which had an actual R-985 and prop. It had "4-O-3" on the fuselage, if that helps.

There is a fibreglass duck fuselage on the public airstrip north east of Pearl Harbor. Thay also have alot of bird dogs pulling gliders. The name of the airfield escapes me. Also there are old revetments.

HI THAT WOULD BE DILLINGHAM FIELD ON THE NORTH END OF THE ISLAND,THIS WAS A LARGE WW2 B-24 BASE WHICH MOST OF IS VERY GROWN OVER THERE WAS A T-6 BACK IN THE WOODS BUT BEWARE THERE ARE SOME STRANGE TYPES IN THEM THERE WOODS!!LOTS OF WW2 HISTORY THERE AND ONE CAN ONLY IMAGINGWHAT LIES HIDDEN IN THAT JUNGLE!!THE A-25 I RECOVERED WAS LOCATED THERE, IT HAD BEEN MOVED FROM BARBERS POINT.THANKS MIKE

Thanks Helldivers! I had friends that towed gliders there Shaun Reynolds and Booth davet. and they were strange! HA Ha. I flew in there and yes much was overgrown. There was talk of renaming the field. Do you use a hydroform for much of your work? Also do you do the heat treating yourself?
