Take a look on www.SuperBikePlanet.com for the 07 Long Beach show. There is a custom motorcycle pictured designed to look like a warbird. It has six Allison type exhaust stacks on the side, rivet lines in the metal tank and seat and a P-40 style sharks mouth. My son Charles sent it to me as a PM titled " your Christmas present." This is finals week for him in law school at U of CO.

Bill, have you seen any of the custom bikes powered by radial engines? Do a little Googling and you'll find several. Cool stuff!

Cheers!

Just a design element, I'm sure.

Maxum96,
Can you tell us what the engine is? Early this year there was a photo of a radial engined bike that went around but the engine was 'in line' instead of 'transverse' mounted. That one was Navy blue with a bodacious T-28 with a polished prop behind it. The T-28 was numbered 133 or 131 or something....seems like I saw it for sale in an ad recently for one of the big-name a/c brokers' ads.

That is too cool! That's it all right. The blue chopper in the website video is the same one I was referring to.

There is a big group of us in discussion on coming down again for the Roundup. I'm not sure if I can or not, but I'd like to! We were also talking about hitting Midland on the return trip. What's another 650 miles at that point, right? As for Back Seat Betty, he is on his own schedule. He is certainly invited though.
