Due to hazardes driving, somone ran into a pole, killing my school't grid. We waited around for an hour and a half then most of us just left. After we left, the power came back on.

We received about 6 inches of the white stuff Friday. Now that it is Dec I really don't have a big problem with it. The tractor has the plow setup and the chains on. It did its first plowing of the season. I still need the ground to freeze so it doesn't destroy the driveway anymore than it is.

New Jersey got 10" of the white stuff yesterday. The ground was still covered
from a previous storm. I know the perception of NJ. The snow is so
polluted with heavy metals we don't plow it, we pick it up with an electro-magnet.
Heck if that doesn't work it's so polluted with gas and deisel fumes we just
set it on fire and burn it.

Now what the heck are you guys complaining about? Winter doesn't even
officially start till the 21st!

That must be what it is, the 21st. We got 3 1/2" of rain last sunday. Some areas got up to 8" of rain.

Fortunately the weather held out for a picture perfect day last thursday and I got a DC-3 ride around the SF Bay, compliments of the Hiller Aviation Museum. After flying around over the Golden Gate Bridge for a while for the news helicopters, we got cleared for a low short approach to SFO. At 50 feet off the ramp, we buzzed on through. An excellent end to a late winter, the 21st.

Nothing like the first big snowstorm here in New England! (10")

It took me 3 3/4 hours to get home last night! Its only a 26 mile drive!

Timing was the big problem, it was predicted for 2-4pm and hammered us right at 12:30, dumping an inch in the next half hour. Everybody left work at 1:00!
Trucks were getting stuck on hills, I couldnt figure out which bar to pull into, it was chaos!

But as long as you found a bar, it was all good, right?
