I'm getting tired of all this weapons talk. I'm still waiting for someone to offer to adopt me so that myself & my flying can be supported!!!!!! BTW, I know a bit about firearms, too!
Put a personal ADD in trade a plane! There will be all kinds of guys wanting to give you a scoloarship.. I know you had trouble with guys. Here is some advice, If they don't have any cash ditch them! The end. Stay away from the broke dead beats..

B-W, my comments were made in jest............I certainly have never been involved with, nor do I ever intend to be involved with, a "dead beat" -- it would be nice to get a little more credit than that!!! And if I've had trouble with guys in the past, well, I'm female....goes without saying that I've had trouble with guys.............TAP? Sorry, last place on earth I'd think of placing an AD. I'd end up washing & waxing someone else's aircraft! Sorry you took my comments to heart.........

I lust over the M1A. I so want on of those! If i thought Kelly would not get jealous I'd sleep with it when (if) I ever get it.

A Krieg and 1917 would also be nice to round out my Military Rifles. I would not mind a AR-15 H-Bar also. I think that would be fun to play with.

I’d love to pick up a reproduction Paratrooper stock for my M1 Carbine so I can use it as a camp gun. I think they look really cool.

Gary,

You must have a good one, then. Two of my four go "CLANG" when ejecting the clip! (The look on the face of first-time M1 shooters when that happens is sometimes priceless!)

I finally shot about 40 rounds through my new CMP "Special" M1 Garand yesterday (my first M1), and it definitely makes more of a "PING" noise, than a "CLANG"! BTW, I let an 11 year old boy at the range shoot it as well, you're absolutely right about the funny look on his face when the first clip ejected!

Here is a pic of my kids!

Taking them out for a spin today, except the third one, that one does not exist and it strictly a figment of your imaginations.

Greetings for California!

Bumping......hmmmmmmm...Never heard of it....went and saw it on youtube, not impressed. Waste of ammunition...Now with regards to the M1 Garand...Back in the mid 80's there was a Safety Alert put out regarding the Safety on the Garand.
With an U N L O A D E D weapon, charge the bolt, then place the Safety to the Safe Position. Then with the U N L O A D E D weapon, Still on Safe, Place your finger in the trigger with pressure and tap the butt of the weapon on the floor. If the Safety holds, you're cool, if the Safety fails, there is some kind of modification you have to make to the weapon...now this was back in the 80's and my memory fao;s me some, but anyone involved in the indepth research of the Garand may be able to assist.

Jesse, I had that exact same lineup as yours, except I got nervous about the third unmentionable that doesn't exist (was setup identically and also had a 75 round drum for it), and sold mine off for this thing I'm now typing on.
