Besides which, if there's someone from the ATF at the range, you might have to answer some serious questions!
Bump firing is perfectly legal because the gun only fires once with each pull of the trigger using your finger.

Now if you are wearing shoelaces while shooting you may be in posession of an illegal machine gun conversion component. I recommend you always wear loafers or or sneakers that close with Velcro when firing a rifle.

Brandon- Could you please explain that M1 Garand/shoestring trick again? Not that I'd ever do something like that, but I want to know "for reference only". 8)

For some reason I haven't been getting emails that I've had new posts to this thread. I see a couple questions that I never answered and I am terribly sorry! I will read through all of these tonight and get back to you guys if the questions haven't been answered!

I say, trunk that M.F. and bring it down to the ranges here in AZ... lot's of stuff to shoot and no-one would bother ya none! Perhaps another passtime activity for a group-meet here for WIXers!

Oh, how much fun would that be? WIXers and an excuse to travel, I like it. Count me in!

Finally, after much prodding from the insurance guy, got a pic or two of the arsenal... ...all great fun!

P.S. Steph, you're more'n welcome to try any of 'em, should you be down this way!

Wow, holy smokes , that's quite the collection you've got there.

Nice gun Collection......... Looks Like Miss Stephanie is on her way to becoming a gun collector...cool. Great gun though, and though I do not know you Stephanie, you are exactly the way you are supposed to be.
Rock on..................

Ahh, well thanks! Thanks also for the information on the M1. With the holidays and everything else, I've been so busy that I haven't done much research. Admitedly, I just really loved the way it looked. It's a beautiful gun. Can't wait to do some more reading!

I forgot I've also still got my SKS,
Colt 45 APC, S & W 9mm and Ruger .22.

An SKS, that's on the list too. My fiance had an SKS that he traded to a friend. I just checked with his friend not too long ago, to inquire about buying it back (as he wasn't using it) and he gave it to his brother. Drat! Luckily those can be picked up at a good price it seems at any gun show or pawn shop, etc.

I've been so MIA on WIX and now that I have made my way through all of these pages I am excited to go shooting. Haven't taken the new one out yet.

I think I might do the same as you there Roger! I can only shoot my imaginary rifle in my imagination in good'ol CA!

I think I might turn mine into some 1971 Chevelle parts!

Jesse, I had that exact same lineup as yours, except I got nervous about the third unmentionable that doesn't exist (was setup identically and also had a 75 round drum for it), and sold mine off for this thing I'm now typing on.
