hanna reittch, (how ever you spell her last name) while a 1st class test pilot, aviatrix, & aero pioneer was a dyed in the wool nazi who worshipped hitler to her death. her values were wrong, but she still contributed to the science of aviation.

1 of the earliest versions of an ejection seat was developed from this manned / womaned buzz bomb because of the fear of being drawn in to the engine upon bail out. i can see the motivation for creation........ yeeesh!!!

The Flying Heritage Collection in Seattle has one. They also have a standard V-1.

Ooops, I seem to have a hard time remembering that I have CRS...as well as
dyslexia and an occaisional flare-up of Tourette's of the fingertips.
Yes, dummy..dare to pull the book off the shelf...

Hanna Reitsch is the correct spelling for the famous female Fi 103 test pilot, and closer to correct....
the piloted version is the Fi 103A-1/ReIV, at least that is how the 6-listed
survivors on the preservedaxisaircraft.com website label them.

All the Doodlebug's or V-1 were some variant of Fi 103.
