Excellent comedy routine from F-86 Sabre pilots and SUPERB special effects for 1950s.

that video was fantastic. I get the feeling a video like that is harder to do in today's military. Or at least more people would get in more trouble today compared to back then.

Cheers,

David

The fact that it is vintage footage makes ever more of a treasure. You think something like that could be filmed with a squadron of F-22's??????? Not likely......AAHH the good ol days.

P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.

I actually have several of these USN & USAF Fighter Squadron Comedies from the 50's & 60's.
Some are very complex & well done. Almost all of them are from Fighter Squadrons though...

Seems that Fighter Squadrons had LOTS of Free Time on thier hands back then to goof off & play games...

That wasn't the case at Bomber & Transport Bases. We had real work that had to be done.
We didn't have time to sit around & play Hollywood all day...

Here's an interesting Early Vietnam F-100D Fighter Squadron Comedy in Color. It's definately the USAF "MASH" of the Vietnam War (Long before MASH was even made) Pilots Boozing it up before a Mission, Shooting Snakes with Carbines, Etc. Ha! Ha! Great Stuff!!

It's almost an Hour long & goes on forever. They put alot of effort into this:

Gee, Sure wish We had the time to Goof Off like that in the 436th!! ... Digger
