Thanks very much to those who expressed condolences at the death of my Father-in-Law. For those who didn't know, he had been living with me and my family since March of last year, having to leave home due to an abusive situation. He occupied quite a bit of my time (as those who tolerated shipping delays knew) and I miss him quite a bit, despite the fact that we had nearly NO interests in common. He was just a great person.

Now on to the instrument panels...

Hi John,

Sorry about your Father-in-Law. God bless you and your wife with the strength it takes to deal with everything a loss like this involves.

Not to change the subject so quickly, but "yes" on the first photo of two panels. These are indeed Fairchild PT-26 panels, although slightly modified. I might be interested in prying these away from you if you give me a little better idea on condition. It's too bad the instrument holes have been "adjusted" slightly. :(

Hey, did you just buy Wayne Harrison's Fairchild PT inventory? He wants me to give him your e-mail address, but I thought I'd better check with you first (although it's not exactly like you're hard to find).

If you were indeed the guy from Maryland that bought his stuff, let's talk. There are a couple of things I am interested in.

Again....my sympathies to you and your's, John.

Steve

A ditto on Steve's sentiments, John. I'm very sorry to hear of your loss.

Dan and Steve,
I appreciate your thoughts. Steve, yes I bought Wayne's pile and did so for resale, so let me know what you want. As for the instrument panels, they look manufactured to me- no modifications from when they were made, or if they were modified, very professionally done. PM me with what you want, and email address is fine to give to him.

Thanks John,

Will be in touch with you on the PT stuff.

Steve
