Rob,

The Tamil Tigers are in Sri Lanka (Ceylon) not Indonesia.

The problems in East Indonesia are mostly between Christians and Moslems.

Whatever you do, don't tell them you're Australian or they'll shoot you on the spot. They have never forgiven us for the confrontation in Borneo in the 60s or the more recent independence of East Timor.

Just reading your post again, I noticed that you have forgotten that quite a few of us actually do live half way round the world from North America.
