Hi all--

You may recall my asking for contact info for flying/near-flying FW190s a few weeks back. Have now had the same question again, but about Me262s (which on this continent would be only the one aircraft)...anyone have contact info for the current owners of the flying 262?

S.

P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.

The one I was refering to is a new build. It is the one seater that will eventually go to Washington. He bought it, then took it to Sanders to have some more work done to it.

I am not sure how to contact Lou (owner of White 1) or the Messerschmitt foundation directly but I think if you use landings.com or some other registration number locator you can get the owners address. White 1's tail number is N262AZ (werk num 501241)and Tango Tango is D-IMTT(werk num 501244). Tango is located is Manching Germany and White 1 is located in Scottsdale Arizona. I hope this helps!

501241 is a full time 2 seater (White 1) and Tango is a "convertible" meaning it can be flown as a single or two seat trainer with the changing out of the single seat turtle deck and swapping with the second seat canopy. The #3 A/C is also a convertible.
P.S. anyone have a large check they would like to give the Collings foundation so we can get #3 in the air? :D :!: :?:  :prayer:
