Mexican registration in the CAF hanger at Harlingen 1978.

So there seems to be another Fleet right behind this one...see the logo on the tail...it seems to match the one on the fuselage ...doh!


Anyone know the ID on this airplane? Whereabouts today? I wonder if it was an airshow act?

Quite a few 16Bs went to Mexico after the war, and many of the preserved ones came back from there.

That looks like the tail of a second one on the right edge of the pic.

Zane,
CAF Rio Grande Valley Wing has a Fleet 16B c/n 383 N16BR. Maybe you can contact them and maybe they could tell you the history of it. I could be either Fleet in your photo.
