Cats..... I would be hopelessly bored without them sometimes. Every now and then they are more fun to watch than a movie....

Get another kitten! We just found one in our barn this past week and I've been entertaining her or the other way around, not sure which. We lost all of our cats in our house fire two years ago, we miss them dearly. We've been able to raise another herd though, and it helps with the loss.

There is no shame in that man. I am a huge pet lover.

Thanks again folks...

Thankfully we still have one house rodent in residence... CC, the calico. She's getting up there though, and I dread the day when she's gone. I just hope when her time comes, that we can get her to the Doc's office in time and that she doesn't go through the same ordeal as Kit. And I hope not to witness anything like that again... watching one of your furry little friends die like that at 4 in the morning is not an experience I'd wish on anyone. I just hope it wasn't as bad for her as it appeared to be...

I have to say that it's pretty weird having only one of 'em now... for years we had a literal herd which numbered twelve at its height, with another five outdoors who lived in our garage. I'd like to bring some others into the family again, but we'll see what happens.

Anyhoo, thanks once again for the words folks... it does more than you may know.

Perhaps that's so, Nate. Hopefully we can finally hook up at Genny this year... I'd like to meet you after all this time. And what a year for it, 'eh?

YAHOO...right on brother! :D

I am pretty sure it would be the end of the world if I miss meeting you at Genny this year. A P-40 Gathering? The two biggest P-40 freaks on the entire internet? Dang that would be a shame. :(

Hopefully, and with some luck, we will finally meet up. :D 8)

I am sure we both will have a heart attack after the first glance of the flight line of P-40's that seem to go on for miles!  :!:

Too bad we both arnt pilots and that we both don't own and fly P-40's. You and me flying at airshows together. That would be a dream. 8) I've always wanted to put a P-40 in a dive at full throttle. Talk about an adrenaline rush.8)

Tally ho,
Nathan

I usually don't make posts like this, but I am a bit beside myself at the moment...

Not too many moments ago I watched this poor little girl pass on... in the past with the other kids it was a simple matter of taking that last ride to the vet's for what was hopefully a peaceful end. Sad, yes. But a quick, easy, peaceful end to their suffering.

Not so this time... I am so ashamed that I could only stand by feeling helpless and do nothing for her but try to offer some feeble comfort...

I'm sorry, but I have to let this out somewhere...

Nathan, we are a group that has a common interest in warbirds, but we also are a group who have a passion for our little friends. I recently lost my "best buddy" to a seizure disorder and will long miss his companionship. Large or small, they bring us all a special meaning in life. You have my sincerest sympathies.

Napoleon was my big boy. Tempelton is still with us but misses his big brother.
