Thinking about going to a movie tomorrow, but can't decide if anything looks to be worth going to. Has anyone seen a good flick lately?
Thanks,
Zack

I'd give Michael Clayton a B; pretty well made but sort of depressing as most everyone in there is a negative.
I am told Retention is good, about politiical torture.
i haven't seen any aviation ones.

I give Micheal Clayton a D. I asked my wife to rent it but unfortunately she bought it. It is well made and looks like a movie that could have been good but I think it just isn't smart enough, isn't interesting enough, and you just don't care enough about the characters to really care what happens to them. For those of the population who suffer from the paranoid delusion that all big corporations are out to kill their customers with their products and then cover it up with a vast conspiracy it may be slightly more sinister but it was just sort of a tired old topic with little or no edge to me.

I can highly recommend the new John Sayles film "Honeydripper." That is, IF you can find it. As a low-budget independent film, it's only playing in a few select theaters. Worth the effort, though.

Went and saw "Leatherheads" tonight. For those that don't know, it's a George Clooney flick about the early days of professional football. Not really exciting, but not a bad movie overall. The football action was a bit weak. Should have paid matinee price rather than night time price though.
Also rented "There Will Be Blood" over the weekend. Slow movie, but Daniel Day Lewis was great as a turn of the century (1900) oil man. The last 5 minutes of the movie are great - weird, but great.
Anyone else seen anything worthwhile?

Ryan , BIG Corps. may not "try to kill " their
customers, but they certianly have and have and have tried to cover it up. See "ERIN BROCKAVICH, alos tobbacco companies for years, or Ford re the Suv rollovers. Many more also.

Agreed - Juno is a good movie. Just saw Iron Man tonight. Fun movie with great special effects. Robert Downey, Jr. was perfect in the role.
