This has bothered me as well. Both organizations are doing wonderful things with their aircraft and I think it would be easy enough for them to just add the "J" in there. It is understandable that the newspapers, etc... are bound to screw it up though.

I was talking to the CF guys a few years ago, and found it interesting that their '24 is actually flown under a LB-30 type certificate. This is because the FAA never isued a type cert. for the B-24.

Gary, I honor the Hellcat out of you for the work you put in. It saddens me that some goofball TV folk in nearly your own neck of the woods missed everything you've done with 927.

TV boy is cut from the same cloth as the one who flew on a 'B17 fighter' with me in 2002.
