This is just a test for me posting photos

Not the best quality, but it brings back some memories. Taken at Ft Drum NY while I was on a deployment with the 103 TASS out of Willow Grove NAS in 1985. I forget what unit they were from. This was not taken with a zoom lens, and I guessed the airspeed at the time to be pushing 500mph - it approached with that distinctive Phantom 'screech' that you hear only when they are coming at you with a bucket full of speed.

If this works it's off to spend some time with the scanner.
Most of my pics are on slides, and of what I would call average quality.
A few of them will be from deployments and show 'working' stuff from the mid-80's, the majority are from air shows of the same time frame.

If those are test shots, bring on the rest! That Phantom shot says it all, low, fast, and comin; towards you with bad intent. Nice balance of subject and speed at the bottom-

Continuing my test - multiple pics in one post

Here's an unusual shot - A head-on view taken from the ground.
We weren't subject to airshow rules and regulations, so we could ask
the pilots for a 'photo-op'. This OA-37B was at Warren Grove Range.

It looks like this type of post belongs in the photo's forum so that's where I'll be posting my stuff from now on.
Thanks for indulging me, and please give me comments. It's not WWII and not 'show/professional' quality but they are warbirds!
