All ten would be P-40s of various models painted 49th FG.Second batch of 10 would be B-17s all painted 100th BG.Boring to some I know but I would be thrilled.

But that's the best part of going to the Museum of Flight! I hope it stays there for a while yet.

Already gone, I'm afraid. A shame, as I was looking forward to seeing it for myself next month. There's a picture of it, minus wings, at Paul Allen's new place on a thread somewhere here taken in the past few days.

Oh...that's disappointing for now.

It is good to limit wish lists, because they tend to go on forever, Buuuuttttt,

I want 3-4 B-17's with working gun's, not because I'm a big time B-17 fan, It's so I can run the 4 109's, The D-13 and D-9 and a couple three other FW190 types to play airraid over the desert and my Mustang bro's can play high cover, and and and......The A6 for going downtown...The Panther for bridge practice..The Stuka and SBD and VAL for divebombimg practice...and...and...and...An Albatross, that would be sweet....and...An XP-67...An SC2....A birdog, so I can do the 60 degree flap thing, and maybe an old timey vietnam carrier landing kinda thing.........

Ohhh, there is the super T28B with the S2 engine and prop...hmmmmmm, maybe the giganto corncob F2G motor(WB prob?needs more thinktifying..)...
Annndddd, the WACO 10/GXE....Lockheed 12...and..(Not warbirds Orvis, stay focused...)

Enough...is enough......Ahhhhhhh, feel all better nowwwwww.........

Well, lessee now...

Firstly I'd want this machine here... just as it looks in the photo. (only in color, and with an accurate tail number...)

Image
Norb 'Bruno' Donacik photo

And I'd get this guy to fly it...

Next up would be this beauty...

Image
John Dibbs photo

And then this'un. I'd have to replace the paint though... I think Older's markings will do...

Image
Matt Cawby photo

I'd have to wrestle a few folks to get my hands on this puppy, but it'd be worth it me thinks...

Image
Trevor McTavish photo

I kinda like the beat-up look... 'tis much more appealing than the glossy paint this Hawk wears nowadays...

Image
John Stewart photo

If there's anything I like as much as the sound a P-40 makes, it's the sound that a Hawk 75 makes...

Image
Ian Matthews photo

Since I'm not a pilot, I guess I'd need a way to either take a ride or learn to fly. This bird would do nicely in that regard...

Image
Wayne Dippold photo

I'll throw this in... not only because I would like to have it in 'my' museum, but also because it's a groovy shot...

Image
Kelly Ward photo

With all these Hawks around, I think I'd probably need something completely different to keep 'em all busy now and again...

Image
Alex Lipitan photo

Speaking of keeping busy...

If I'm gonna have all these flyers in the stable, then I'll be sending them off to airshows all over the place.

(in my fantasy world, gas is free!)

Well, I'd need a support crew to follow along in case anything breaks, although I'd repaint this thing in ATC markings.

Well, that's about it for the first wing of the museum... lemmee think about what's gonna go into the expansion wing.

Hmmm...

Fade to Black...

10 is generous. 1. My dual control Spitfire Mk IX, (still pretty original, never a rebuilt wreck) 2. Stephen Grey's Mk V SPIT( perhaps the prettiest and best flying plane in the world ; Steve Hinton said it was in the top 2 of all he's flown) 3. Kermit's P-51C or Jim B's. Kermit's dual control P-40, or John Paul's. 4?Bearcat, let Howard keep his so I can fly his wing. 5. Stephen Grey Spit Mk 22 (never enough power) 6 P of Fame original Zero. 7.Super DC3 whichever is most deluxe inside with a couple of bunks and a galley, 8. B-17 9. Hurricane, probably BoB Flight? 10. Hellcat
I had to leave out a few, a dual 51 like Crazy Horse, a B-25, A Mossi, A classic jet like T-33 or F-86(but I don't know how to fly them) Stearman , Tiger moth , Chipmunk
With the Zero and Spit Mk V you could trade a flight in most anything you didn't own
