I just uploaded 85 more photos to my webshots account including Jerry McDonald's T-6 after his mid-air at Reno..
I think y'all will get a kick out of them and probably have a few questions
about a couple.

And a wiseacre like me would have to comment on the T-6 that groundlooped 6 times...

Not 6 ground loops just one plus the off road adventure earlier that day.
Scared the cr*p out of me!! Long story.........
That old Banair SNJ-4 flies very well.

Sorry, but no clue on the Harvard IV. Some WIXer out the knows!

Tim, the early shots were from my step-dad who was a flight surgeon. This one was a KA-6D of VA-75 off the Saratoga 1977 Med cruise. CDR Werner the CO was flying. The VA-37 A-7 is in the old markings by next cruise they had adopted the Schiltz Malt Liquior Bull for (yes you guessed it) free beer for all! What's the odds of that happening today. I have a sequence of 7 of this refueling in slides.

Nice photos Jack. The NP-1 is a rare one, 201 built..1 left. I recently ran
across a Nov. 1987 issue of The Vintage Airplane, detailing a "quick"
history of the NP-1 and 3691.

A very interesting story how Jeffs dad, Walter collected all the various
"bits" of NP-1's from around the US over a period of years. Equally
interesting, was how the author of that article, George Goodhead came
into possession of the original tracings of NP-1 drawings..which are now
with the EAA Museum.

Good to see "her" still flying! Amazing how a ring cowl "slicked-up" the
appearance of the prototype NP-1.

The NP-1 is a very cool plane. Jeff flies her occasionally during the summer. It's realy a blast to fly in. But it's for sale. The only one in the world and flying!!! Get out your checkbook!!

My wallet is an example of an early Montgolfier flying machine....lighter
than air! But seriously, it would be nice to see ns/n 3691 go to a nice
living museum where it'll get respect for the sole existing Spartan NP-1 it
is. It's a later machine than Mr. Herrick leans towards ...but it would
(IMOP)..be better off than say "hurricane alley". Or finda nice vintage
caretaker who would appreciate her.

Is 3691 being advertised somewhere....is the owner interested in some
"need" of fulfillment he would trade 'er for?

There's this lovely Irish lass I know, who loves aviators.......
