Insurance, for anything with wings, who provides / prefer?

IIINNN-surance

Both the bane and salvation for everyone and everything.

I am looking for auto insurance (check ratings sights and http://progressive.com. Other suggestions are welcome too, but its about airplanes here).

I have seen that ALL manner of moving objects, be it On-road, Off-road, On water or Underwater, Big/Small, you can easily find something.

Except airplanes.

So I am asking a hard question(s) here, and its from Cessna 150 to B-29.
Who does provide (I know of AIG)
What types of coverage (is is like auto? Rental airplane covered? ;) )
How much, typically
Good pilot discounts? (Wings program? )

I personally have life insurance policy by AIG in case I die/injured in airplane, but what other coverages is advisable?

Sure I can ask AOPA, but this community will have some interesting experiences as well.

I was hoping for opinions and discussion, rather then a simple request for a company (Thanks for sending me a note, BTW!).

Experiences and expenses welcome!
