What the hell were they doing on the range? They're lucky they're not dead. I can't believe the shells just went through the tank and did explode, HEI or not. Maybe that's just Hollywood though...

Training rounds ('TP', or Target Practice) are just slug bullets.

one of the reports sates that they were on the reservation, but were 3 miles from the firing range. So, who was at fault, 3 miles aint much if you are throwing nukes around, but it is ALOT when you are shooting 20mm.

There are many 'tactical' targets spread out on a place like UTTR that aren't in the middle of a big plowed-out circle.
