Company hack.

Heck of an attractive plane, and it's survived all these years unscathed! It's currently with the Kermit Weeks collection. Notice the racer in the second photo is the same plane. That particular FG-1D has a heck of a history. I'll be curious to see if Mr. Weeks follows through with the complete restoration, and how he elects to paint the plane in the end. I can't think of a better place for it, other than the NASM maybe.

Vought used that as a corporate transport for a few years after the war. I think it spent most of it's days in Dallas.
