Looks like it was the one Tulio took the picture of at Houston Executive, last week. Here's the thread.

The guy who owns it makes a big deal over the fact that it was flown by Prince Charles.

My first thought was:

Oh, fxxk!!!!

Although I don't know the pilot, I saw him and his airplane once at Sugarland, and then last Saturday at the Houston Executive fly-in.

I also believe that the pilot is a WIXer, but for the life of me, I cannot remember his name.

Good news though, there are no reported injuries.

Tulio,

I used to be a part owner of that jet, but sold out months ago.
It was just TOO expensive to support a JP and a B17 on my salary.

Best wishes to my ex-podners.

Report from those who know.

It is not destroyed.

Possibly more than $5.00 to fix, but not destroyed.

Left gear collapsed, tip tank turn off but A/C fixable.

Both souls on board wearing brain buckets and have a grand story to tell their kids.

fanx...
yes I meant Left Tip tank (with the extra petrol) torn off, on fire and last seen being put out by the local Fire Dept.

The airframe never lit-off, so the locals are to be commended for their restraint in not hosing down the whole A/C with corrosive chemicals in the name of saving it.

This is a revoltin' development, as it is the Plane HRH Price Charles solo'd in.
While the Chuckster is not known as a bayonet in his teeth defender of Western Civilization he is potentially the future King of England.

AND it was a hoot to fly!!!

Spanner,

Then, I have a photo of you and the JP at the Sugarland airport, a couple of years ago.

According to what I recall, the airplane had just had its radios serviced there.

Saludos,

Tulio
