So, was that Mustang getting mods to be a sprayer too?

And actually, (Don't flame me for this Brandon) after looking at it a while, I kinda like the lines on that T-6.
...Of course, I like the AirTruck too. Hmmm, I wonder how that T-6 would look with the Mustang canopy on it? Hmmmm............

I was always a fan of the 4-engine classics. I took this at Ft Lauderdale Executive I believe (slight chance it was Opa Locka) around 1977.

Anyone know what became of that Connie?

Rich--

That looks like it might be the 1049 that finished up on the Miami firedump; if it is, it got the name "Clipper Dick" spraybombed on the nose, vandal-style, and was then flame-broiled to death over the next several years for firefighting training...a sad, albeit useful, end.

Oops, I didn't think the N number was visible, but it is. It's this Connie, crashed in Indiana:

Can you put an Allison on the front now? That would make it perfect!

By the way, I noticed Honeywell replaced the Boeing 720 that was at KPHX with a 757... anyone know what happened to the four-holer?

It's still on the airfield Ryan - parked up in the frieght area as far as I can tell - not knowing the layout of the airfield particualy well.
