or any of the other Iowa based "Gunfighter" guys?

Or anyone else on here from the flooded areas.

Things are not good out there with all the flooding.

Hope all is well.

Glenn

Nothing personal, but we've been too busy sandbagging here to worry about the Iowa folks much.

The rains have stopped for now, but the local river is expected to rise another 1-2 feet over the next couple of days. Send dry skivvies!

I have flown over and stopped in Iowa many times on mmy way to and from Oshosh and other places. I hope all have gotten out without any people being lost and the property damage may be such that can be recovered from.

Glenn,

I e-mailed Doug late last week and all is well with him and Gunfighter. He's on higher ground in Clear Lake so the flooding did not affect his home...and luckily his business which is in Mason City. Not sure if the Mustang has been in Mason City during the flooding or if it was over in Council Bluffs. If it was the latter I don't think they were hit as hard.

We're sweating it out at the Missouri Wing. We're at St. Charles County Smartt Field (KSET). We're located just south of the confluence of the Illinois and Mississippi rivers, and about 3 miles north of the Missouri River. Dring the '93 flood, we had 7 feet of water in the hangars. The problem is that both engines are off the B-25, and it can't be moved. The TBM is at Ft. Leonard Wood with a blown engine, so at least it's safe. Water gets to our hangar at 31 feet, and it's supposed to crest at 31 on Sunday. In '93, the water came up, then receeded, the REALLY came up and flooded the hangar. Here's a link to our flood watch. http://www.crh.noaa.gov/ahps2/hydrograp ... gage=grfi2. Keep your fingers crossed!
