The was a post on this a while ago. However, it didn't say anything about the serial numbers.

If I've got this right, John Paul took the A-36 parts and used them for his P-51C. He then sold the rest to the Collings foundation.

What are the serials of the P-51C at Warhawk Air Museum and the A-36 at Collings? I've only seen one serial number and its been listed on different sites for either one plane or the other.
