I have no idea what this Mornington Crescent thing's all about, despite working a few hundred yards from the station (odd building - the whole interior's a lift, or elevator to our North American friends) many years ago, and being a huge fan of the late Willie Rushton but just in case - Ongar.

I'm feeling quite self-righteous here as I've been around for a while, mainly lurking, rather than just waiting for the FP forum to go wrong as you lot appear to have done.

Scott, thanks again for your hospitality.

BTW, not keen on Scotch. Ale, Smirnoff Blue or tea in a changing order but invariably large quantities.

Better stick the kettle back on.

Ken, if you promise not to tell anyone, I'll let you in on the rules to Mornington Crescent. Here they are:

There aren't any - they're made up as you go along. However, they have to sound very complicated and well established.

I'll take Maida vale in accordance with the Grimshaw ruling on the trellis variations.
