OK I only made it Sat., and late at that -but it was great to see the P-40s and all the Canadian warbirds! Even the P-51! The lack of pavement is a real plus when it is hot.
I have shot some warbirds before but never have had my camera at an airshow so this was my first attempt. There are so many good plane shooters on this board... so go ahead and throw things. I want to get better at this...

Very cool. That pink baby is owned by Elaine Schmidt. It was an attention getter.

As I got into the WWI and L-Bird area it was the first thing I saw. I had been driving around for days, it seemed, and the road food was getting to me. My gut was hurting.

I framed up the pink Lady and it hit me! Pepto chewables! I had a few in my camera bag. I felt great after that and never asked the people why it was painted that way. I should have. They seemed like such a nice family.

Eric? do you know?
