Masterton Airshow

Greetings,

I posted some pics at the "UK Forum" and thought I would do the same here.
This was a wee airshow in Masterton at Jan 22-23rd (100kms north of Wellington, NZ) and featured some great aircraft.

Unfortunately I couldn't make the show..a query for you..did the WW1 airfield attack take place at the opening of the show..or was the wind a bit strong ?

yes there was a WW1 attack, at least on the Sunday...

Hi Rob,

There was a good selectoin of WW1 stuff;

3 x Fokker Dr.1 Triplanes, an Avro 504K, a Brisfit, a Sopwith Camel and a Nieuport 17

The programme went as advertised on both days, with the exception of the Devon which was a no-show.

The wind on Saturday morning was probably at the limit for the WW1 types, but they still gave a full display.


This has been fun Chris. Should we do it again after Omaka?
