What is the source of the Pima Air Museum Nakajima Oscar? Is this the NASM example (which I thought was in Seattle) or is it one of the four recently made reproductions incorporating original parts.

The Oscar is the one that used to be at Seattle. When they got their replica they gave up the loan on the real one and NASM transferred it to us at Pima.

Great work on all of the restorations!

Are any of these restorations going to be airworthy?
How cool would it be to see an airworthy A-20 and B-26 together!!!

I need to plan on visiting this museum soon!

One thing I would like to see, and not just this museum, would be a short history on the actual aircraft on display or getting restored.

Where it was found, what it took to get it and how much is original. I bet there are some pretty cool stories behind these old birds.

No, all aircraft at Pima do not fly. They might be restored to "airworthy" condition, though.

Eventually it probably will be but not right away. The museum is working on redoing the online gift shop but there is no timeline for when it will be avaliable again. Consider it a bribe to get you all to come out here. :)
