With all the discussion of the Yanks P-47s below I thought I would post my pics of the couple. These were taken the Friday before the first POF show at Chino when it returned back from the dead. Because of my excellent record keeping, I'm not sure when that was...

Wasn't that 1999? I have similar pictures and I met you and Mark M on the flightline.

That's it I was thinking it was 2000 till my wife corrected me...so 1999 it must have been. I went with Mark and met you.
