Gezz 183 replys and 14,783 viewed the thread, wondering if thats some kind of a record.

Probably not

I'm not sure if it was a record, probably not. Patty has been known to fly warbirds once in a while so I don't think it was completely OT. I think the topic started off just fine for the first few pages but it did start to go down the tubes in the last few. On the other hand, I'm not sure it should have been pulled or locked just yet. There were a few folks that probably still needed to settle their differences in a respectful manner, something I think would have happened in the next page or two. In any event, it's not my call and I respect the moderator's decision.

As far as Patty's situation, I hope it all works out without the need for a trial. It's an unfortunate situation for all involved, Patty, the EAA, security, the local sheriff's office, and a few others. I'll take a guess at one thing, Patty has been quoted as saying she is really sorry about the entire situation and I'll bet she really is.

It is obvious you never look at the stickys at the top of the page. The Diamond Lil thread might be tops.

Maybe they send EAA security to the same training camp?

Woman cuffed, booked for not paying library fines

GRAFTON, Wis. - A Wisconsin woman has been arrested and booked for failing to pay her library fines.

Twenty-year-old Heidi Dalibor told the News Graphic in Cedarburg that she ignored the library's calls and letters as well as a notice to appear in court.

Still, she was surprised when officers with a warrant knocked on her door, cuffed her and took her to the police station to be fingerprinted and photographed.

Police Capt. Joe Gabrish says officers follow the same procedure with every warrant.

Library director John Hanson says a couple of dozen people are cited each year for failure to return materials or pay fines.

The incident cost Dalibor about $30 for the two overdue paperbacks. It cost her mother $172 to free her.

Al Bundy can be glad his old grade school librarian didn't follow this Wisconsin law! :)

Speaking of security, TSA is using pitot tubes and AOA vanes for stepladders now. http://www.aero-news.net/index.cfm?Cont ... 8fa5effaa&

Just a quick fact. . .

The speeding case was from 2005.

Devil is in the details.
