at this point in time most of the relatives are gone and you pretty much know what the original outcome was. Id rather they spend the money on more recent actions such as vietnam. as for me if i went that way I'd just want to stay with my buddies .... and Hawaii wouldn't be such a bad place to end up! I know I can't afford to "live" there so.....

P: Noise coming from under instrument panel. Sounds like a midget pounding on something with a hammer.

S: Took hammer away from midget.

Do you know for sure that they had no children nephews or neices? A mass grave is usually not what I would consider being "with my buddies".

Your posting weird today, earlier you put up smilies about the three US Coast Guardsman that perished in a helo crash. You should resist posting any more comments today.

We must limit politicians to two terms:
one in office and one in jail.

I read an article where last year they recovered 350 remains. So it averages almost one per day. About ten years ago I talked with a retired Air Force officer that was telling me the program had immense popularity and that the Air Force had it billeted for a flag officer.
I think it makes sense to start with the most recent MIA/KIA's and work the best leads. The Vietnam era would have the most relatives and servicemen that served with persons still living that could provide useful information. Plus the most eyewitnesses, etc. There are tens of thousands of missing servicemen. My friend's father was shot down during the Cold War in 1957 in a P2V-3.
Another thing, a friend and I have tracked down a couple of WW II crash sites in this area and the coordinates on those old crash reports have never been anywhere close to accurate so far. Sometimes as much as 20 miles off.
