Well, In association with my WWII Radio collecting activities, I decided a few months ago to get my Amateur(Ham) License. Today I took the exam-

Bad news- I only got 26 out of 50 correct on the exam. Good news- that was the "Extra" class exam: I scored 35 out of 35 on my "Technician" exam(the first level) as well as 34/35 on my "General" exam. Sooo, once my info appears in the database, I will be a General Class Ham Operator- and able to operate my WWII aircraft radios. I hadn't planned to take the "Extra" exam today, so I hadn't studied for it- just for the other two.

Just an update on the radio operation: FCC has granted me the call letters KC2TYV, and I am authorized GENERAL... I don't have any of my rigs on the air yet, but I have my license!
