When I was a child I remember a gentleman had a B-29 Fuselage on his property. Does Anyone have photos or know anything about it. HEre is an exerpt from the articel, It seems as if he was another collector. He supposeivley built a car and the tires were from an airplane. He had PT boat as well And I guess he has been battling the township for years, He past on in 2003.
"Lawson, the executor of Kleve's estate, agreed to give the property and four others to the township in exchange for trustees dismissing several court judgments against her father's estate. Three of the properties were littered with old cars, pianos, magazines, boats and the fuselage of a B-29 airplane. The township had declared the properties public nuisances and placed liens "
This is an small piece of the article from the Cincinnati Enquirer. Supposivley the EAA got the aircraft engines.

Can't help with that one...but...I do have another Cincinnati question...

Driving back from the CWH Lancaster first flight gathering in 1988, I heard a story on 700 WLW (local radio station) about a B-17 fuselage section that had been in Cincinnati for years (maybe since the war) going to a restorer in Florida. I have never heard anything about this and no one I've asked has any idea about it.

Now it was late at night and I was overstimuated by seeing the Lanc fly...so is it real or a bad hallucination?

Warbirds International had an article years ago about a B-17 rear fuselage (aft of the radio compartment to the tail turret) that had been unearthed in good condition after it had been used as a bomb shelter  . The article mentioned what must have been a partial buzz number BA-23 on the fuselage. Could it have been this one?

Chirs,

Know which issue it was in? I'd like to read more about it.

Mid-90s is the best I can say right now - I have them all from Vol. 1 No. 1 but they're in several different places in the house... sound familiar?
