Has there been much in the way of progress on this project as of late? The website has been rather quiet for a little while now, and has not had an update since last year. Are there any links to project photos around?

I have been wondering about this myself.I check the site quite often myself. Both this and the Whitley project sites seem to be a bit stale. That is not to say they are not doing any work or to detract from what they are doing in any way. I think these projects are amazing and ambitious and I really do wish them every success. LWF, thanks for the link. Those sitting pieces are just what I need to work on, while I unwind from school. A bottle of WD40 a wire brush or two and some fine steel wool.
