For Valentine's day I will give you a smile, and an explanation for why I am a careful speller in my emails....(Why I caught the misspelling of "porrnn" in my earlier post!
I told this story once before but for those of you who missed it, here is one of my most embarrassing email moments.
A few years back, we had a family and friends, get together, at our local park. Several family and friends were not able to attend, so I decided to email the highlights of the day to them. My Minister, and his wife were among the recipients of this email. The following is what I meant to write......
"During a spirited game of softball I had to duck several times to avoid being hit by Charlie's balls."
Have you ever noticed that the"d", and the, "f", are located next to each other on the keyboard? Please go back and reread the previous sentence and replace the d, in duck with the f, then read the entire sentence!
I still get teased about that one
