Wonder how much, what, and if any of that is coming to San Antonio...?

Note that the website doesn't mention ANY Fw-190s? I thought they had one left on display. Already gone to San Antonio?

According to their websight, they are also setting up a museum in my tribal and ancestral home of Snyder, Texas. I looked through the archives of the newspaper and found no mention of it. I wish they would have done something like that when I was a kid!

I'll be surprised to see if my little hometown can be much of a draw for their museum. Snyder isn't a very progressive place. Heck, it was still a dry county up until the begining of this month! It wasn't a bad thing, people didn't seem to mind driving thirty miles south to buy their booze.

There's not much to see there other than the white buffalo statue and the "Home of Brad Pilgrim" historical marker!

Yep, I show P-40M 43-5778 being restored. Don't know where it is now either!

This is the P-40 that was crashed fatally by the CAF in 65. How much of it survived? Any old CAF members hanging around here? Here is an accident brief: http://www.ntsb.gov/ntsb/brief.asp?ev_id=76899&key=0

Speaking of old CAF members, anyone recall Ed Messick? Was he run out of the CAF? He moved to California, dropped out of sight for many people. Thought, he died a few years ago.
Thx.
