NOPE! they look great, the only problem now is everyone will want to come here-like my friend in Idaho says 'the four buys, food, gas, & bye-bye'
The NAVION article in the current AIR & SPACE says the airplane can be flown with the canopy open or removed, talk about field of vision!!!

Somewhere the American Navion Society has a NAA or Ryan promotional photo of the airplane being flown canopy-less with a big 1950s refrigerator strapped into the area behind the back seats!

My dad's Navion was also used by Frank Tallman in filming aerial sequences for the movie "Young Joe, The Forgotten Kennedy". They took the canopy off and strapped a big tripod back there with a movie camera on it. I've got photos of that somewhere.
