I went to a cookout the other day with a bunch a friends, and looking around I realized something. Most of the friends I have are in one way or another in aviation. I made most of them through flying, and I owe the CF a thank you. You see back in the late 1980's their B-17 "909" had a landing mishap. The aircraft was restored at Air Heritage at the Beaver County Airport. There I was a very young kid just sanding and cleaning stuff. Sand blasting parts and sweeping the floor. But when kids at school talked about playing baseball over the weekend, or doing whatever, I talked about working on a B-17. The friends I made from that time in my life ended up being my friends for life. Two of them are my best friends. It would have never happened if it wasn't for the CF. I know that sometimes we all argue and stuff over things we don't see eyey to eye on, but I think our hearts are in the right place. Any rate I just wanted to say thanks to Rick H, Jim, the rest of the CF for what they do. That goes out to all of you guys that keep them flying. I never mean to come off like an ass here, I am sure I do from time to time. What you all do is special. Thanks to the guys like Matt G, Eric Downing, Gary Austin, Mike Rawson, Trae, and everyone else.

Ha HA, actually the Koolaide has left a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth as of late. I will have to send you a P.M. about it.
