God willing and the creek don't rise, Art Nalls is planning on flying the SHAR at the Culpeper, VA Airfest on October 11th. If you're in the area, you might want to come on by!

Yep. This weekend we have Winchester (OKV) and Hagerstown (HGR) and next weekend is the Culpeper (CJR) airfest.

Culpeper is National Capitol Squadron's home base, and Airfest is a really nice, low-key show. Pretty much a "gathering of friends" that just happens to have waivered airspace!! :)

Come on out, and if you see a short guy in an Day-glo vest with a cowboy hat, that'd probably be me. Say hello, throw money, etc.... :)

Yea, OK, I gotta ponytail too.... but there's only a few folks I answer to the Lil Joe crack from. (Unfortunately, Daffy, you are one of em...eesh) :).

Seriously, anyone in the area come on out to Culpeper....you can't beat the entertainment for the price ($free!!)

Art passed his checkride over the weekend. I'm guessing he probably educated the FAA Examiner. Way to go Art!!!!!! There is a new update on his website, www.nallsaviation.com

We have improved our emergency procedures. Our checklists and manuals were written in “Brit.” No offense to our British supporters, especially since you invented the language, but we were confused by instructions such as “carefully inspect the fuel cell with a torch.”
