No, I live in San Antonio... I know it gets hot! For humid though - you'd have to go to Galveston to know what humid really is.

No doubt on that, I thought I knew what humidity was growing up, hard to go home after living in Tucson, AZ and Abilene, Texas for 9 years - so the AF sent me to Gulf Breeze Fl where I get a daily lesson on humidity - however none can begin to touch the level of Hum-Hot to be had in the glorious Persian Gulf

The funny thing is that having grown up here it really doesn't seem that hot most of the time.

Very cool to see a row of 105s like that! 8)

I think the B-24 got repainted this summer. I think that is the one that JimH was telling me about.

It's still odd seeing the P-51H as Petie.

It would be cool to paint up some nose art on the B-29.

I found this close up of the A-26 nose art. Not too authentic, but very nicely done.

Completely wrong for a Korean B-26. Why go to all of that trouble to put that nice nose art on it when there are so many correct examples available that they could have duplicated ?

That particular B-26 was flown back from South America, traded to the NMUSAF for something else and promptly parked ! It is bone stock, not many left that haven't been monkeyed with.

Does the same go for private owned warbirds that have custom nose art on them? I think they did a great job on it.
