Check out the gallery on the website, looks like that confirms the B-25 is "Grumpy". The Tigercat is not Kalamazoo's.

Thanks for the info guys. I didn't realize that the Tigercat had already departed AZO. I hope she makes it back here for a visit sometime..I'd love to see her fly again.

It's nice to know that John Sessions has "formalized" his collection by starting a museum accessible to the public. I applaud his efforts!

Wow, that looks like quite a museum, according to the artists' renderings. Awesome!

And he's doing jets too! :)

The only bad thing about John's building getting completed is that the HFM will no longer get to display his "excess" inventory

It's quickly becoming quite the location for warbirds.

Wasn't he going to get "Grumpy" after Paul Allen decided not to get it?

KPAE is returning to it's 1970's days when the field supported Ben Halls P-86 (now in the U.K.) Miss America, P-38 SCRAP IRON (no idea where it is now, anyone have info?) several T-6's, and lots and lots of WARBUGs. It was an interesting time and full of excitement. Hopefully this past Septembers WARBIRD WEEKEND will become an annual event the turnout crowds were good, the response was great, and the FoF made a dollartwonintyeight on sales. The participation was very strong for a first ever event and great weather got lots of flying in. The FHC fly days draw ever increasing crowds for a one hour display and with more aircraft flying next year perhaps it could become an every weekend event thru the Summer. KPAE used to be the site of the States 'Official airshow' we need those days back and J.S. and P.A. are trending the field back that way coupled with P.A. having enough change in his cars ashtray to buy out the Ludites over the hill in Mukilteo-during these damp, cold and dark Winter days think 'airshow season 09'
As 262crew states, we are getting spoiled and I can only hope it gets worse, nothing cheers up a Saturday morning like the thrumming of a pair of 2800's or Merlins!
