If this Thread has already been done, sorry. But anyways; what would you say is a comprehensive listing of artists of all kinds you listen to on a daily basis? Id like to consider myself part of the youngest generation here on WIX, so most of these bands may seem foreign or even downright scary to some of you old fogies out there! Of course this isnt all of them, but just some off the top of my head. It may start out with alot of Metal bands but give it a chance, and go down the line. You'll find somthing you'll like. So here it goes:

Metallica
Godsmack
Staind
Rage Against the Machine
Incubus
Seether
Sevendust
Limp Bizkit
Kid Rock
Slayer
Korn
Megadeath
Beastie Boys
Whitey Ford
Fu Manchu
Glenn Miller
Jet
Oasis
Black Stone Cherry
Beck
Cake
Jack Johnson
Beatles
Elvis
Jerry Reed
Miles Davis
BB King
Dethklok
Frank Sinatra
Bing Crosby
Sly and the Family Stone
Jurrassic 5
Quarashi
Pink Floyd
Atreyu
Audioslave
Barenaked Ladies
Blind Melon
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
The Andrew Sisters
Death Cab for Cutie
AC/DC
Snot
Flobots
Theory of a Deadman
Benny Goodman
Bonobo
And many others.....

What do you do guys have?

Ah! Some good ones there. I personally like Handel even more than those.

Also enjoy some good soundtracks from J. Williams and some stuff like the Gettysburg soundtrack and a few more modern singers.

I went to Flobots shows in Denver when they were still almost local. Great band. Look up Woodie Guthrie, Hank Williams, (snr.) and Robert Johnson. Willie Nelson is one of the best songwriters of his age. Wikipedia him and looka t all the stuff he wrote--it'll surprise you :) Can't listen to this new crap without hearing where it all came from :)

And Supertramp. There's gotta be Supertramp. 8) I don't care what the rest of these people say. You dont like SUpertramp, you can't eat at my table. Unless you bring the steak. And some Barq's. And maybe some ribs.

And decent cole slaw.

Awesome musicians the three of them!

Muddy?! You went to go see Flobots?! Very shocking and unexpected I must say, though very cool to hear. Rock on!

I admit it, I have strange taste. Thank god you conservatives haven't outlawed my Tramp. I'd have to move to Cananadia.

Just a sampling but...

Rockabilly first and foremost:
Stray Cats
Johnny Burnette
Gene Vincent
Reverend Horton Heat
Big Sandy
Three Bad Jacks
Hot Rod Hucksters ;)

80s Rock/Metal
Dokken
Extreme
Van Halen
Queensryche

About the only Grunge I touch anymore is Alice in Chains

Classic:
The Who
Led Zep
Hendrix
SRV
Cream

Western Swing:
Spade Cooley
Hank Penny
Bob Wills

Big Band: the usual suspects
Glenn
Benny
Duke
Cab Calloway
The Count
Andrews Sisters

Plus surf, alt country and lounge/exotica. I very rarely listen to commercial radio as I have my iPod and XM. But when I do, it is 90% of the time, one of the college stations.

Modern Pop music... I have no use for it.

Yeah, All of that.

On the way home last night it was U2, coming in today it was Brubeck. At lunch it was Mozart....I bought some Outlaws, Rob Zombie and Zoe Keating over the weekend...

The last concert I went to was Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

I have 18 gig of stuff on my Pod...you never know what's up next.
