From my understanding all of the aircraft was removed, although not too carefully, back in the mid '90s and has since been stored in a police compound in Tobruk. More and more interest is being shown in favor of recovering this aircraft. And in light of easing relations between Libya and the U.S., this ambition is becoming more of a possibility. Main problems are the condition of the aircraft, the Museum in Tobruk that is claiming ownership and the remaining tension between our two countries. Not to mention a lack of an organiztion to spear head the cause. Until then all we can do is hop for the best. Keep History Flying.
