Unrestored favorites

As one of those polls, random question surveys, I was wondering
if y'all could think of your 5 favorite unrestored aircraft. Granted, I haven't seen these in person, but just knowing of their existence...

1. John Smith's Mossie (NZ2336)
2. Belgrade Fiat G.50
3. NASM TBF (I think it's a TBF, probably wrong , any actual Grumman-built Avengers around?)
4. IWM London Spitfire I
5. NASM Ki-45

Planes of Fame Raiden for one (not much but a paint job away from the way it last flew), Syd Marshall's (?) Bf-109G for another.

I'd have to go with Week's (formerly Tallichet's, ex Indian AF) B-24J. Its a time machine. There were maps from IAF days circa late forties still stashed in radio operators station. Completely original, and this close to airworthy.

My first would be F2G Corsair race number 74 currently owned by the Crawford Auto.Aviation Museum of the Western Reserve Society. Last that I heard the restoration by Bob Odegaard is on hold pending funding.

Next would be the XF2G race #94 whose remains are burried on the South side of Cleveland Hopkins Airport after being used for fire practice in the late 50's. But there might not be much left of her but bits and pieces are in various private collectings prior to here being burned.

Of course there is what remains of FG-1 "Lucky Gallon" in Walt's collection.



But then, I'm just a Corsair nut......and loving it!

Guys-

I'd like to see an Me-110 in the air...as well as a Halifax! Perhaps, since this poll is a pipe dream, we could put some fire under the P-61 restoration?

Definately, the B-2s Granpappy should.......... nay, must, be returned to its former glory.

Yes, it was restored in the Dornier Factory in the mid seventies and displayed in the Deutches Museum, Munich before going back to store in the Garber Center. Slated to go to Dulles with the next influx of aircraft. I saw it in Munich, certainly is impressive.
Go 229 would be very cool to see assembled...shows the design principle of the B-2 has been around for some time.
