This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

I stand correct, I had been told by volunteers there earlier this year they were coming, but I just went by there and confirmed they are NOT coming to Olympia this year.
Darn.

Wow, its looking really great!
I'm digging through the museum's collection of photos to see if I can find any shots of the original plane on the ramp here. Probably a long shot but it sure would be cool to find one!

Looking good indeed!
Somebody tell Ryan I'll trade 'em my TBY cockpit project for the B-24 straight up.
Ah never mind...wouldn't fit in the driveway anyway.

Who's painting the artwork?? Gary Velasko???

the American Aero Services team is doing all application of the nose art and markings and Mr. Velasco is not involved. The team effort is getting the job done in record time with a high level of quality and durability to withstand the rigors of touring.

Love the new look!!!!!!! Are they eventually going to do 909 in something else???? They were up here last yr or the yr before and during one of the ride flights in 909, an engine let go and had to be shut down. Now that would have been a ride, wish I was on it.

Lynn,
We'll be arriving at Love Field at Frontiers of Flight Museum at 3 PM on the 4th. Due to the dense traffic at the airport, I would expect us to do a straight-in arrival without an overhead approach.
